Biography
A teacher, wife, and mother of 3 beautiful girls. Born in East Texas, transplant to the Galveston area in 2000. I graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2004 with a B.S. in elementary education and began teaching in Galveston. In 2012 I earned my M. Ed. In Early Childhood from Stephen F. Austin State University. I am currently working toward a second Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. Galveston ISD has been my teaching home for my entire career. My children are all students of GISD, with the oldest graduating from Ball High in 2018. I love anything that has to do with cats, big and small, and we have 4 at home. We also are raising ducks, chickens, and rabbits. It’s our little farm in the city. I also enjoy hunting and fishing with my husband and children.

Biography
I am a recent transplant to the island. Originally I am from Allen, a town just north of Dallas. I graduated from Texas A&M University in the spring of 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts with an emphasis on management and technology. I moved to Houston to start my theatre career. During this time, I began to substitute teach and discovered a passion for Special Education. Starting in the fall of 2017 I began to teach full time. During my free time I play a variety of table top and video games, fish, and play rugby as a member of Galveston Rugby Football Club.
