Biography
I am a bilingual kindergarten teacher here at Burnet Elementary School. After earning a degree in Food Chemistry, I moved to Texas where I studied to become a teacher and earned my degree in Bilingual Generalist-Spanish EC-4.
I have been a bilingual Kindergarten teacher for 8 years with some time off in between to start my family, something I feel fortunate to have had an opportunity to do as the experience has made me a better teacher. I have been the LPAC team Leader for Burnet Elementary school for the past five years and the Kindergarten Team Leader for one year.
I chose a teaching career to make a difference in the lives of the students. I enjoy working with children and helping them reach their dreams through their education. I believe every child should be valued and treated with respect and that an education should empower a child to realize their goals and positively impact their communities.
I am looking forward to working with you and your children this school year. We will learn a lot this year!
